Keena Ray Alexander is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and a driven entrepreneur. As a United States Disabled Army Combat Veteran who served as Psychological Operations from 2000 to 2008, she proudly retired as a Sergeant E-5 after her deployment to the War in Iraq from 2003 to 2004. Keena's military service took her to various countries like Iraq, Turkey, Kurdistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Ireland, and Cyprus, as well as half the states across the U.S. for both work and leisure.

In 2007, Keena obtained a B.A. in Communication with a focus on Rhetorical Theories, supplemented with minors in Spanish and Computer Design from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Following a period of postpartum depression and emotional/physical abuse, she discovered the healing power of yoga and pursued a 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga in 2015 from Urban Breath Yoga Studio in Maplewood, MO. Delving deeper into the practice, she then earned a 200-hour certification in Kemetic Yoga in 2017 from Yoga Skills Kemetic Yoga Teacher's Training in Chicago, Illinois, after being drawn to its ancient roots in East Africa. Keena's passion for yoga extends to offering private classes and events year-round.

After a transformative journey, Keena relocated to Puerto Rico in 2017 to focus on personal growth, hospitality skills, and establish her sustainable living yoga projects in El Yunque Rain Forest and San Juan. Following the aftermath of hurricanes Irma and Maria, she returned to St. Louis. Since then, Keena has travelled back and forth for work and leisure.

While yoga remains a central part of her life, Keena has also found fulfillment in professional cleaning, viewing it as a therapeutic practice. Since 2016, her cleaning services, particularly in the vacation rental industry, have flourished, leading to the establishment of Keen Home Solutions. Keena has achieved Super Host on Airbnb for 4 straight years  and has managed  130+ short term vacation rental properties in the St. Louis Metropolitan and USVI areas. 

A Jill of All Trades- Airbnb Consultant, Yoga Teacher to Professional Cleaner- Keena has recently transitioned into the information technology industry as an Operations Technician in the data center industry following completing a Cybersecurity, Networking and Cloud Computing bootcamp at Centriq Training.  She is now a CompTIA Net+ candidate.
